The other commonly used additives include cyclamate, stevia, aspartame, and sucralose. The advantages of these artificial sweeteners are cost and lack of calories.
Given its impact on history and modern economy, with more than two thousand years of metamorphosing food, sugar has managed to establish itself as the most significant food ingredient even today.
